900MHz 800mW FPV video transmitter w/antenna & harness
Description:
Powerful 910MHz 800mW audio/video transmitter. This is the newest version of our best selling transmitter. This video transmitter is preferred over 2.4GHz alternatives because it is less prone to interference from outside sources such as wifi networks and cordless telephones. It also won't interfere with 2.4GHz radio control systems (Spectrum DX6/7, FASST, FRsky). 2.4GHz video transmitters will absolutely reduce the range of such R/C systems.
It is very easy to implement this transmitter into your design using the included wiring harness. You can hack the harness and find these wires:
Red: Power (10-12VDC)
Black: GND
Yellow: Video in
White: Audio in
You can connect any compositve video source to this transmitter.

The transmitter power input is wide:
10V 26dBm
11V 27dBm 500mW
12V 28dBm 600mW (nice power level)
13V 28.7dBm
14V 29.5dBm (gets darn hot !! so dont do it)
The transmitter heats up relative to the operating voltage. It is normal for the transmitter to heat up 60 degrees Celsius when being powered from a 12VDC source. For prolonged life it is recommended to use a heat sink or place the transmitter in an airflow.
Two versions of the same transmitter are sold:
1 channel - 910MHz (this transmitter)
8 channel- 1080, 1120, 1160, 1200, 1240, 1280, 1320, 1360 MHz
Its legal to transmit on 910 MHz and 1280 MHZ in the USA.
Transmitters purchased though this page and shipped to the USA are are locked to 910MHz per FCC regulations.
There is no international version of the 900MHz transmitter. Please see the 1.3GHz version instead.
Warning: DO NOT power ON the transmitter without the antenna !!
Doing so will burn the transmitter.
